Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and was the youngest of three siblings. When she was 17, her parents split up. The company they owned failed and caused additional financial difficulties. Her financial troubles were made worse by her anorexia and bulimia. Gossow has been very honest about her decision to leave ARCH Enemy as their singer. She said, "There's a place and time for every thing." In 1991, I began my professional career. It was then that I began to lose interest in having to live a in a constantly changing environment. Instead of feigning it I quit, I decided to stop.
