
Brianne Sidonie desaulniers, born October 1 1989 is an American actress. As a teenager, she was known for supporting roles in comedy films. Her career has taken her to take on leading roles in blockbuster films and independent films. Larson has been awarded numerous awards which include the Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and the Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the top 100 people of the world for 2019. Larson was admitted at age 6 to American Conservatory Theater's education program. Her acting career started in 1998 when she was featured in a comedy sketch on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. She appeared as a regular on the sitcom Raising Dad and briefly dabbled with a music career, releasing the album Finally Out of P.E. in 2005. Larson had a role in comedy films Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012). In 2009, Larson also appeared as a sardonic teenager named Tara in the television series United States of Tara (2009-2011). Larson continued to take on supporting roles in The Spectacular Here (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). Larson was honored with the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as a kidnapping victim of the drama Room (2015). The adventure film of 2017 Kong: Skull Island marked her debut big-budget film, following which she was cast as Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with Captain Marvel (2019).
